Aren’t they just precious?

Well, Red and I had one of the most memorable weekends of our lives!  We decided last minute to fly down to Richmond to see our dearest friends, Scott and Elizabeth, in their new house.

First, we stopped at Babies R Us and proceeded to buy NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING because the baby wasn’t coming for a few more weeks.

Red was having a really great time.

On our way home, we decided to take a walk in the park.  Of course, neither Elizabeth nor I could resist doing all the little “exercises” along the path, including squats, parallel bars, and yes, push ups.

This was one of the weirder exercises but we still had fun. 

Just before getting in Scott’s new car, we decided to take a picture of his three “babes”: The Honda, The Wife, and the Unborn.

Little did we realize her water was going to break in about five minutes.

Dylan, their 6 lb, 8 oz bundle of love arrived by 9:54 p.m. after less than four hours of labor! 

All in a day’s work for the strongest, most athletic woman we know!

Congratulations to all of you!  We can’t even express how wonderful it was to be there to witness this little miracle!
