Congratulations Mary, Gabe, Ashley, Elizabeth, TJ, Warren, Karen, Elizabeth, Scott, Jonathan and Lisa!
by Mary ~ May 7th, 2009. Filed under: Uncategorized.Yes, it’s been a banner month in the land of Mary and Red.
We’ll start with my own celebration:

Here I am in my doctoral gown, throwing some of the articles and prior copies all over the living room to celebrate. I had no idea I was still in for an additional three weeks of solid work at this point in the game.
Then Red and I shipped off to Ireland, where we celebrated the wedding of Ashley and Gabe! (Gabe is Red’s cousin).

What a beautiful wedding at Ashford Castle! And what a beautiful couple!
Our next adventure took us to Denton, Texas, where we celebrated another wedding. This time for Red’s cousin, Elizabeth and her new husband, T.J.!

Congratulations Elizabeth and TJ! We are so happy for both of you!
Then, we hear, Warren and Karen had Baby #2! Trahen John McCuistian was born April 27, 2009, weighing 6 lbs and 11 oz. We have seen photos but I couldn’t steal them from the website, so you will have live without them.
Finally, we just got back from Seattle where Jonathan and Lisa got married. Before we got there, I slipped over to a wedding shower for Dr. Elizabeth Reilly, who is expecting her first baby (Rosborn) this summer!

She is six months already – can you believe it?
Finally, Jonathan and Lisa tied the knot this weekend. It was great to see the high school crew back together again!

Top row: Sharon Nuxoll, Tanya (Baker) Anderson and her husband, Dave (to her left). In maroon, Erin (Van Haelst) and her husband, Brandon. Red and me to the right. Chris Ramey and his wife, Zee (in navy) to the left. Adam (in tux) and his wife, Teresa (above bride). Then of course, Jonathan and Lisa. It was great to see everyone!
I ended up staying a few extra days in Seattle and I got to see lots of faces from the past, which was great for me. You all know who you are. Thanks for making time, space, dinner, and the bed ready for me!
Next comes the big graduation and visits from the ‘rents. Needless to say, we’re having a lot of fun!
