Rock Band is the Greatest Game Ever Invented

Hello everybody.

I am proud to say that I am fully recovered and ready for action.  Ready to dance, ready to read, ready to fly all over the world, ready to learn French, ready to write a dissertation.

I am also ready to update the website.

So I give you installment one, which is life after the BVI’s.  It is a small update, I know, but inquiring minds want to see THEMSELVES in some photos

Rock Stars!
I understand because once you become a RockBand Rockstar, it is hard not to want to see yourself in photos like these. Left to right: HannahBanana on the drums; Alaska Miles on base; The Konigsberg as lead vocalist; and STD on lead guitar.  Notice the disco ball spinning in the background (thanks Jordan!)

Wow.  I just ordered Chinese food about five minutes ago and it already arrived.  This is what I love about living near New York City.  I can still eat even while Red is in Minneapolis/St. Paul.

And on that note, yes, Red is in the Twin Cities, enjoying working his butt off alongside all of the Republican Delgates.  No, he’s not working with them, but he is staying in the same hotel as the Hawaii and Illinois delegates!

Also, some of you may have already seen my debut on CNN, but here are the links, just in case:

Sorry to subject you to my political views, but Red and I happened to be walking through Times Square and CNN gave us tickets to watch Obama accept his nomination on the big screen.  Naturally, they asked me my opinion and whoops!  Out came a few thoughts.

(By the way, the nomination of Sarah Palin is an absolute insult to me as a woman; she has zero international experience and no comprehension of complex financial markets.  They want her second in command while we are waging two global wars and trying to pull out of a horrific credit crisis?  You have got to be kidding me.)

Whoops.  Whoops!  Where did that come from?  I’m afraid the CNN commentary has gone to my head and I am thinking of becoming a professional “pundit” now!

So anyway, enjoy the photos of our time back home in Hoboken, and more glorious photos of our time in D.C. will be posted soon.

Secret political update (one hour later): I must admit Guliani’s speech against Obama was pretty impressive.  I look foward to watching Ms. Palin’s speech shortly.
Secret political update #3 (after Palin’s speech): She was good.  Obviously sharp and competent, but it would still freak me out if she was in charge of dropping nukes overseas in the event that John McCain (Mr. Skin Cancer himself and the oldest non-incombant nominee in history) were to pass.  It was notable that she brought up Venezuela, Russia and Mexican oil strongholds, but it appeared (to me at least) to be pretty scripted because she had to study the teleprompter intently to get through it (especially the name of the plant in Saudi Arabia!)

P.S. I am fifty times more likely to update this website if you actually make comments on it, FYI.

I think you would make a great “pundit”. So now you are given another nickname, PP for ‘professional pundit’ :P
